
ORCHIDS IN VITRO
When orchids are in vitro it means they are still very small babies and they are still in the vessel they are being grown in, in a lab. This vessel is typically called a flask. Flasking orchids is a very common, sustainable way to multiply them in a sterol environment. While this process is typically faster than growing them from seed, its a process that can take between 4 months and a year depending on the variety. We offer pre orders on our plants that are still in vitro so that you have the opportunity to order sometimes months before they are offered for general retail and wholesale giving you first dibs on new stock.
